Sleepy Man Banjo Boys: Bluegrass Virtuosity from ... New Jersey?

Published on Jul 5, 2013

http://www.ted.com/ All under the age of 16, brothers Jonny, Robbie and Tommy Mizzone are from New Jersey, a US state that's better known for the rock of Bruce Springsteen than the bluegrass of Earl Scruggs. Nonetheless, the siblings began performing bluegrass covers, as well as their own compositions, at a young age. Here, they play three dazzling songs in three different keys, passing the lead back and forth from fiddle to banjo to guitar.

A Few of Many Top Comments:
Johnny Bravo I'd like to say they are born talented, but the odds that all three brothers are "born" talented isn't as believable as saying that all three boys worked hard to achieve this level of skill. In other words, I think "talent" is an arbitrary name for passion and dedication. Oh hell, these boys are damn talented!
William DSR Unbelievable. I bet they have amazing parents.
David S VPA I've decided not to make a comeback after watching talent like this
travelingduck5 wow that is truly and amazing talent !!!!
Raphael Noz They're playing way too fast. Hopefully, they'll mellow with age- but they're good!
