Brilliance of Szechuan Culture on September 8,
2012 from 11:00 am to 12 noon, followed by a
Szechuan Cultural Carnival from 12pm to 3:00pm
and is open, at no charge, to the public. See

Performers from the Province of Szechuan and Chengdu Capital City, well-known for “Mask - Changing”, Shadow Puppets, and acrobatic stunts, accompanied by cultural performers playing traditional Chinese instrument such as the “馬頭-Horse Head” two string musical instrument, love of the Mongolians and also wrestling by a single person dressed in a two-panda costume will be some of the program highlights.
Accompanying the Szechuan and Chengdu performers during the show will be local renowned musicians and vocalists from the Chinese instrumental and vocalist groups who will join in the fun for the evening as we celebrate mid-autumn in Edmonton.
The colorful performance of the Brilliance of Szechuan Culture demonstrates the strong vitality of Chinese arts and culture. It is a show that will be remembered by all and will provide a good understanding of the wonderful cultures of Szechuan.
