Laid-Back Admin: Google changes xyz.com to xyz.ca...!

Google changes xyz.com to xyz.ca where xyz is any site on the blogspot for people who live in Canada -- watch out! For example, you can use ▶ Advanced Search in SSTattler  to type:

All these words: stroke
Site or domain: http://barbpolansrecovery.blogspot.ca
I guess it is OK -- Google gives you 4 hits (results)

Then try instead the other domain .com:

All these words: stroke
Site or domain: http://barbpolansrecovery.blogspot.com
It is great -- Google gives you 259 hits (results)

When you look for using the local domain, for example in Canada uses .ca and for local news, it is great but you have to look for using the global domain, for example the "world" uses .com, it is much better! For me, I use, consistently, .com unless I want to find local stuff about Canada, I use .ca (or .uk or ...).

From Apple dictionary: Domain - Part of the domain name of a computer that’s connected to the Internet. The name “www.example.com” consists of the subdomain or host name “www,” the domain “example,” and the top-level domain “com.”
