In 2013, a year after his stroke, international rugby star Michael Lynagh ran the London Marathon with a team of colleagues from Sky to raise over £80,000 to set up the Stroke Association’s pilot Back to Work Project.
With the project now a year old, Michael visited the Back to Work Steering Group, a group of stroke survivors and carers who help plan and deliver the project. He spoke about his own experiences of stroke, the barriers he experienced on his journey back to work and how he overcame them. Watch our short video to hear Michael Lynagh share his experience of work and stroke.
