An experienced teacher, advisor and supporter
During 2014 I’ve had the pleasure to mentor some awesome, astounding, surprising, breathtaking, remarkable, extraordinary, incredible, unbelievable, phenomenal and mind-boggling caregivers and therapists who have been exceptional students of The Teaching of Talking Method. They can stimulate speech and language very well, and their loved ones and clients have been making exceptional progress overcoming aphasia, dysarthria, and developmental speech and language difficulties. Why am I writing about this? Is it to blow my own horn? No. Is it to try to get others to learn the Teaching of Talking Method to help their loved ones speak again? Yes. Why would I want to do such a thing? Financial gain? Not really. Then why would you want to share with others a method that really gets results?
If you went to a great doctor, and you got well, or a great restaurant, would you want to tell friends about it? Yes. If you tried a new food and loved it, would you tell others? Of course! Why would you want to tell others about a doctor, restaurant or a new food? Because, you want them to benefit and enjoy something you experienced, right? Right.
I’m a speech language pathologist who has been helping people for over 40 years speak better. I have developed a level of expertise or competence that has taken a lifetime to master. Do I want to share it with others around the world who are in a quandary about where to go or how to help others speak better? Yes. Are there plenty of people out there who want to help you or the person with the speaking difficulty, but unfortunately do not have the know-how or expertise?
We only go around once in this lifetime. Doesn’t it make sense to do the best you can to help your loved one or client improve speaking and talking?
Then if you want to help your loved one or client speak better, find out more about the Teaching of Talking, here. The method is outlined in the book, The Teaching of Talking, Learn Expert Speech and Language Stimulation Techniques at Home For Children and Adults. The Teaching of Talking Audiobook is also on audible.com, and can be listened to as you ride in the car, go walking outside or on the treadmill, or as you go about your daily activities.
Soon the video subscription program for the Teaching of Talking Video Training will be released and caregivers and therapists will be able to access video lessons, right online, that you can watch and learn from teachingoftalkingtraining.com. To find out more, click below.

My daughter is five years old and it is still extremely difficult for her to string sentences together. Sometimes the best we can get from her is just two word sentences. I would love to learn how to teach her to communicate her feelings and needs, because I can see the frustration she feels when we don't understand her. I would love to take a training course to become better equipped to help my daughter with this learning process.
