Every spring, Edmonton choral fans circle the date for Kokopelli’s Stories concert. The choirs invariably use the mid-season concert to stretch their musical boundaries; incorporate innovative lighting, video, staging, movement and percussion; and inject the occasional unforgettable bit of whimsy.

Stories centres on the organizations two oldest choirs, Kokopelli and Òran, but two of the younger choirs also get some time on the stage. Kikimasu performs a showcase set at the 2 p.m. performance, with Shumayela singing in the 7 p.m. show.
