If you don’t drive, and need transportation , the Edmonton Seniors Coordinating Council has a searchable database of  ways to get  around Edmonton.

If you want to take the bus or LRT, the Edmonton Trip Planning System can tell you what buses to take, where the bus stop is, and what time you have to be there.

Medically impaired drivers are one of the most significant, but preventable, public health issues faced by Albertans and other Canadians.The Medically At-Risk Driver Centre (MARD) is a University of Alberta-based centre with world-class standing that uses innovative research and stakeholder collaboration. The MARD Centre is committed to:
  • Enhancing the safety and mobility for medically at-risk drivers and for all road users;
  • Reducing the social and health impacts and economic costs associated with medically impaired drivers for the benefit of all Albertans; and
  • Improving the quality of life and safety for medically at-risk drivers and for all Albertans.
