The Creative Age Festival is held annually during Seniors Week in celebration of arts and aging.  The 2011 Festival takes place June 7 - 13.  The Creative Age Festival:

• Recognizes the vital contribution and benefit of the arts in relation to life-long learning, creative expression, mental and physical health, and well-being.
• Celebrates the artistic accomplishments of seniors.
• Encourages seniors to become more involved in the arts.
• Promotes quality arts-based programming and engagement in later life.

Festival highlights include the opening and closing celebrations, art exhibit, arts cafes, Choral Fest, Festival of Edmonton Seniors Theatre (FEST) drama workshops, and more.
